When a child is conceived, parents contribution is only in constructing a residence for a soul that will come to reside in it when it is seven months in making in the womb.
Your body is just an abode for a soul that would come and occupy it in its journey to its perfection. Who will be given its possession is decided by some super power, who is controlling everything, including the journey of every soul to its perfection.
We all are different souls in different bodies in our journey to our perfection, be it our parents, if they are still around, our relations..brother , sisters, uncles in different names and scores of others who we are interacting with or interacted with some time in the past..or may do so in future…these interactions is our chance to help them reach to their perfection that is possible in the body that they are temporary residing in their journey to their perfection.
One day they will disappear for interaction with us…or may be we will , after having reached to perfection possible in the body, temporary abode for the soul.
It makes sense that we must help each other in this journey , which has been a different experience and learning for each one of us so far and and will be different hereafter.
That is what is self-realization.. and is another name of God realization.
